Carrots 1kg
Crisp, naturally sweet, and endlessly versatile — perfect for quick weeknight cooking or hearty weekend roasts.
Why you’ll love it
- Sweet crunch that holds up in stir‑fries, roasts, soups, and slaws.
- Cooks fast when julienned; caramelises beautifully when roasted.
- Plays well with soy, sesame, garlic, ginger, and warm spices.
How to enjoy
Flash‑fry carrot matchsticks with ginger and garlic, then finish with a splash of light soy and a drizzle of oyster sauce. Stir‑fry 2‑4 minutes until crisp‑tender.
Simmer sliced carrots and shiitake in clear chicken broth, then add rice vermicelli. Season to taste for a comforting, broth‑based bowl.
Toss finely shredded carrots with rice vinegar, a few drops of sesame oil, and sliced shallots. Chill briefly for peak crunch.
Coat wedges with a little canola oil, toss with cumin seasoning, and roast 18‑25 minutes until caramelised.
Prep Tips
- Peel if you like an ultra‑smooth finish; otherwise scrub well to keep more color and texture.
- For fast cooking, cut into thin matchsticks or bias slices; for roasting, go chunkier so edges caramelise while centers stay tender.
- Blanch coins or sticks 1‑2 minutes before quick stir‑fries to lock in color and cut cook time.
Pairs well
- King prawns for quick stir‑fries.
- Oyster mushrooms for earthy depth.
- Coriander to finish salads and noodle bowls.
- Soy sauce for umami seasoning.
- Firm tofu for veg‑forward protein.

Street Address Only
We can deliver only to physical street addresses. PO Boxes, parcel lockers, concierge mailrooms, and newsagents can’t accept our chilled parcels, so please provide a residential or business street address.
Delivery Access
Couriers deliver to ground-floor reception areas or your doorstep. We’re unable to take lifts or stairs to upper levels, so please make sure someone can meet the driver on the ground floor or your instructions allow a safe drop at street level.
Failed Delivery — What We Do
- We call or text on arrival. If we can’t reach you, we follow the instructions you gave us (for example, a safe drop location if building rules allow it).
- If access is restricted or a safe drop isn’t possible, the driver brings the order back. We don’t offer redelivery on the same order.
- The order will be cancelled; the $8 delivery fee, a $10 handling fee and the value of any fresh/perishable goods that can’t be restocked will be deducted.
- We refund the remaining balance to the original payment method and issue a $5 coupon as a goodwill gesture.
